☀️ Here’s how I prefer to practice the locust pose. It feels more natural for me to keep my chin forward. I understand that if you have a chronic neck injury, it's advisable to keep your chin down to protect it. However, after teaching for over 20 years and traveling to more than 20 countries, I've noticed a common issue and frustration with this pose. Many people are instructed to always keep their chins down during practice. I find that this restricts the flexibility at the cervical-thoracic junction of the spine, shifting the focus more towards the lower spine rather than the upper spine. 🪷 If you don’t have any neck injuries, I encourage you to try practicing with your chin forward and let me know how it works for you in the comments below. 🙏🏽 To learn more about this technique and deepen your understanding, join me online!
