Letterpress still exists all over the world, folks, not just in a museum! While traveling in Central Europe, Jared visited letterpress_salzburg in Salzburg, Austria. In this video, Jared tours the workshop, sets some type, and does some letterpress printing and embossing with Bernhard using a circa 1860 Liberty jobbing press. They have also been building up a letterpress printing business since 2017 collecting and restoring old wooden typefaces and lead type and want to preserve this historic craft for posterity.
