2025 was very likely the best year of Max Arfsten's soccer career.
At the start of it, the 24-year-old Fresno native received his first call-up to the U.S. Men's National soccer team. Arfsten also earned his first MLS All-Star Game invite.
He scored his first international goal in the Gold Cup quarterfinals against Costa Rica in June.
The San Joaquin Memorial HS grad made 16 international appearances, and he solidified himself as a contender to make the U.S. World Cup roster.
