One of the fastest ways young midfielders lose the ball is the blind turn. If you turn upfield without knowing who’s around you, you’re gambling with possession. Before you turn, check your shoulder, open your body, and use your arm to feel for pressure. Your body gives you information before your feet make a decision. If there’s space, turn and go.
