A new theory is floating around online that posits the murderers in two of America's most notorious crimes are actually the same person. Amateur sleuth and cryptographer Alex Baber believes he has solved the infamous Z13 cipher sent to the press by the Zodiac Killer. Z13 allegedly reveals the name of the murderer and Baber believes his name is Marvin Margolis. Margolis was a named suspect in the Black Dahlia grand jury investigation, as he had lived with her in LA. No one was ever tried for Elizabeth Short's death. Not long after her murder, Margolis changed his name and left California. According to Baber, he returned shortly before the Zodiac Killings.
