During a recent interview on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Shayna Baszler discussed the possibility of Ronda Rousey returning to WWE. "I never think Ronda is done," Baszler stated. "She’s a crazy person. I don’t know. She loves being a mom. It would take a bit, but CM Punk came back. Ronda Rousey can come back." Baszler also reflected on her influence on Rousey’s transition from MMA to professional wrestling, noting that Rousey would watch wrestling with her after training sessions. "Ronda has said in interviews that she saw me pro-wrestle," Baszler said. "She watched me fall out of love with MMA, pro wrestle, be happy, love it, and therefore fall back in love with MMA." Regarding their match at SummerSlam, Baszler confirmed that she was aware it was Rousey's final commitment to the company at the time.
