We let things haunt us for longer than we should, simply because we think that they should carry weight. But we can be past things, the moment that we decide to move past them. It's up to us. It's up to us to learn. It's up to us to observe. But it's also up to us to move past the things that might have hurt us before. Because with conscious effort, we can learn a lot from the past. But if we let it rule over our present, we fail to continue growth. It doesn't mean that things don't hurt. It doesn't mean that life gets any easier.
