While black people have often been celebrated and praised for our contributions on the court or field, I think the next frontier is highlighting black people that are behind the scenes shaping the industry. Very few of us are born with the genetics that professional athletes possess, but it is much more likely that we can design and market the products they wear, or become entrepreneurs and high ranking executives at sport brands.
