It has been: • 200 years since the portofgalveston was established • 180 years of the galvestonchamber • 160 years since Juneteenth • 140 years since The Great Fire • 130 years of thegrand1894operahouse • 125 years since The 1900 Storm It’s more than a list of dates. It’s a reminder that this island has many layers and a whole lot of grit.
