One Valentine’s Day at Wake, Tisha was working the night shift at the University Shuttle. I had written a 12-line poem, and every 15 minutes of her shift, I had one of her friends (or even a total stranger) deliver her the next line of the poem, along with one red rose..Just as she was about to get off work, I personally delivered the final rose, the final verse & recited the entire poem..Nine years of marriage & two beautiful children later, my life wouldn’t be the same without this DeaConnection 🎩💛🖤💛🎩” #WFUalumni #MotherSoDear .
