Today is Maize's 11th adoption anniversary after we locked eyed on January 2, 2015, at animalhumanenm in Albuquerque. I have complied 11 different photos of her, one from each year including my first photo of her in her cardboard carrier. Maize is truly the rock in my life. She's lived in 4 states, moved to 7 different apartments/houses and been supportive through 11 jobs.
