Lukey really went IN 😂 Such a funny throwback! I actually have a story about this breastfeeding journey- I had just stopped breastfeeding at this time in the video. I breastfed for all of 3 weeks in the very beginning and Lukey was NOT latching/sleeping. He had colic and Matt and I were up all night round the clock with him while he was crying, so I stopped breastfeeding (it was always a struggle). Then I started pumping and storing and formula feeding. I ended up trying relactating very successfully when he was about 5 months old and we latched for a bit! Didn’t stick to it because it was more stressful and I had 2 under 2 at that time… and it was COVID and I was feeling so down and crying ALL the time. Breastfeeding ended up more stressful than anything (we found out later Luke has severe food allergies) so I decided I needed to show up as my best self and started exclusively formula feeding- best decision ever for my mental health! #momselfcare #breastfeeding #breastfeedingjourney ...
