FOLLOW + comment “APPLE” for the recipe deets!!! 🍎
Tbh toddlers likely get enough protein, but they prolly aren’t getting enough fiber 🥲 so it’s our jobs to offer a variety of fiber-filled sources to help them get there!!
These baked apple fritters are a twist on the classic fritter, without the added sugar or frying. Literally just chopped apple, oats, oat or almond flour, egg (or flax egg works too!!), cinnamon, baking powder, vanilla, & a lil coconut oil 🙌🏼
I drizzled a yogurt icing on top of me & bubs, but you can even have your tod dip in yogurt if they’re a dipper! For babies you can shred the apples instead of chopping
Changing how we offer foods (not just what we offer) is one of the best ways to expand variety and help little ones explore new textures + foods confidently! Maybe they don’t like a crunchy apple but they like the soft baked kind 🙂↔️
Makes such a great breakfast, snack, or lunchbox option!!
