Which makes it the perfect window to build confidence with new or whole-food options!! Try this snack strategy:
✨ keep the crackers to start with what’s familiar – they help your toddler feel comfortable & they can totes be a great vehicle for nutrition (hummus, guac, nut/seed butter)
✨ add one “learning food” to pair something new alongside their fave (fruit, veggie, cheese, yogurt, beans, etc.)
✨ serve it all together – no pressure, just put it on the plate or even a muffin tin and move on (give them space + time to explore)
✨ rotate the snacks – every few days, swap in a new combo bc remember tiny exposure adds up big over time! variety doesn’t have to be complicated
