Okkk so idk about you, but I’ve seen so many reels lately talking about banning snacks (which hey, if that works for them, great!!)
Then they notice their kids eating more at mealtimes, which duhh — they’re prob actually hungry at meals bc they’re not grazing on snacks all day
But that’s the key part, they aren’t *grazing on snacks throughout the day* or getting them instead of their meal after begging nonstop since boundaries were set
So instead of feeling like you need to ditch them completely, why don’t you try this:
✨ create a meal / snack routine w eating opportunities about 2-3 hrs a part
✨ use crackers as a vessel for more nutrition (pair w hummus, PB, or avocado)
✨ pair carby snack w a protein / fat (banana + meat stick or mandarin + cheese)
✨ hold those loving boundaries (you can have __ or __; we can have __ w lunch tomorrow)
✨ store them in containers vs the package (esp if they’re stuck on a certain brand)
