Bc anything called a snack is a yes right?!🙂‍↔️🤞🏼
But truthfully it wasn’t JUST bc I called it a snack board or put it on something other than a plate (even tho that helps!)
He was included, he had fun, he had a say in what went on his snack board from the options I provided, he felt powerful helping me chop, we changed up the scenery & he’s seen all of these items MULTIPLE times
Bc toddlers can’t learn to accept a food they don’t keep on seeing!! But it doesn’t just stop at them seeing the food, talk about the food + connect it to something they’ve heard before (like bell pepper boat, raspberry hat, etc)
Channel your inner toddler & get on their level w describing food 🫶🏼 (ps it’s never too early to start talking about food to them!!)
Have you tried a charcuterie style lunch or dinner before? Literally just slap some fruit + veg + carb + protein/fat (cheese, meat, hummus, nut butter dip) on a cutting board or baking sheet & call it a snack board
