Worried about your toddler’s protein intake?👇🏼
But first, follow + comment EGG if you want the recipe for these spinach “hulk bites”
Idk who needs to hear this but, toddlers only need about 13g/day (ages 1-3) & around 19g/day (ages 4-8) — which adds up way quicker than we think🫢
½ egg = 3g
½ string cheese = 3g
¼ cup Greek yogurt = 4-5g
½ cup milk = 4g
¼ cup beans or lentils = 3-4g
2–3 tbsp edamame = 3g
1 tbsp hemp hearts = 3g
¼ cup cooked oats = 3g (yes oats have protein!)
1 tbsp nut/seed butter = 3-4g
3-4 of these portions is enough to meet their daily needs! & just a reminder that they actually need more carbs than protein, so hopefully this brings some relief??🙂↔️
