5 things that have helped us “keep living” w/ kids👇🏼
find our thing – we both have our own hobbies + activities we enjoy doing together, we make time for both
start small – “adventures” don’t have to be big trips!! we search places locally to visit like parks, libraries, & museums to get out while not spending a ton
lower the bar – it doesn’t look the same as pre-kids & that’s OKAY!! we go in expecting slower, messier, & louder lol (ps everyone was a kid once)
find our people – having friends who embrace the chaos with us & those to love on our littles when we need a helping hand
keep practicing – the more we do it, the easier it gets (trust me I’ve def had my share of anxious moments too & months 0-6 w both kids you’d find us at home way more)
Seasons don’t last and we can do hard things!!!🤎
Are you team bring the kids, leave the kids or it depends??
