Majority of our community forgets why, and I see it represented in modern trends like those “Indian line dances” (the ones people resort to because the beat got too fast). The nature of that line style dance is you face the stage and quite literally face your back to God. You may think “they’re just having fun what’s the big deal?” - to me I see it as one step away from the purpose of our festival’s message. There’s a reason for everything and it may seem trivial but ask yourself how God centric is your life? I can say most of us aren’t even remembering Him/Her three times a day. So yes I believe our festivals serve as an awakening to our soul to remember “hey Mira, have fun, but also remember Why you’re here” #momswhoworkout #momof3 #indianmom
