An honors student whose arrest by ICE provoked outrage on the Suffolk County Community College campus has been deported to Colombia after more than two months in jail. Sara Lopez Garcia, 20, said she and her mother were flown out of Louisiana on a Colombia Air Force plane with about 150 immigrants, landing in the capital city of Bogota.
