I’m not trying to do more in 2026. I’m trying to do better.
My word for the year is Refinement.
For me, refinement is about doing so much more with less.
Less clutter. (as I've been purging our home for the last week!)
Less noise. (too many commitments)
Fewer clients - but deeper, more meaningful work with the ones I have.
I’m leaving behind the season of taking on any client that comes my way and overcommitting to things that don’t energize me. Just because I can doesn’t mean I should.
Refinement looks like trusting my intuition more - about whom I work with, how I grow, and where I’m headed. It means becoming a true partner to business owners, not just a consultant, and building relationships that evolve over time.
Outside of work, refinement shows up as less urgency and more confidence. Saving more (always!). Choosing simplicity (less is more!). Digging deeper instead of spreading myself thin.
