Hamilton County Mayor Weston Wamp will not pursue lifting deed restrictions at Enterprise South Nature Park, according to a Tuesday morning press release. Wamp’s original plan to open up 500 acres of the nature park to future industrial development will no longer move forward, due to public input. The proposal, since its announcement in October, has gained waves of opposition as a nonprofit formed specifically for its protection and a petition cleared 12,000 signatures.
