In past seasons, I’ve been guilty of waiting… Waiting for the timing to line up. Waiting for a friend to be able to join me. Waiting for life to feel perfectly aligned before I said yes to the things I wanted to experience. I missed out on so many moments and experiences I can’t get back, not because I wasn’t capable, but because I didn’t want to do them alone. But this year… I’m choosing differently. In 2026, my goal is to do ALL the things, even if I have to do them alone. I’m done waiting for a plus one to validate my plans. If there’s something I want to learn, explore, try, or enjoy, I’m going. I’m doing it solo if I have to. Because the truth is: you don’t discover who you are by shrinking your life to match other people’s schedules. You discover her when you trust yourself enough to show up anyway.
