Do you know your Jesuit history?! 📚 🏫 Location #1 (freshman level): Original Pillar from the Oak Lawn Campus. 🏛️ This stone is a cornerstone from the original Oak Lawn campus. During the demolition of the original campus, masonry pieces were sold to offset costs – many alums purchased pieces as mementos. Decades later the Class of 1963 brough the piece back home where it now sits as the base to our St. Ignatius statue in the Prayer Garden. ••• Location #2 (sophomore level): Pegasus Sculpture 🐴 In 2002, as part of the Dallas Soars! citywide art project, a 30-foot sculpture was constructed at the back of the School by eight alums. Containing a giant fiberglass Pegasus, D. Tillery ‘83 engineered the horse to rotate 30 degrees and as a result fly with the wind – residing in what resembles Reunion Tower.
