The artist Atsushi Kaga invites viewers to reflect on universal themes of fragility, loneliness, and the passage of time. Just Another Human Experience presents a series of encounters between one’s inner world and the natural phenomenon of the exterior world, exposing the fragility of life and the fleeting nature of all things.

The free exhibition transforms the Douglas Hyde Gallery into a space of four seasons, bringing together large-scale and small paintings, bronze works, and a large sculptural pavilion at the centre of Gallery 1.
To complement the exhibition, ‘The Artist’s Eye’ series, asks those exhibiting in Gallery 1 to invite an artist of influence to present work in Gallery 2. Kaga has selected the work of painter Stephen McKenna, with over 60 years of career, acknowledging the crucial role artists play in influencing and shaping other artistic practices.🖼️
