$3M to $9M in one year isn’t a “sales hack.” It’s a people + process decision.
One owner I worked with had a strong 2024 (~$3M). Instead of trying to “push harder” in 2025, they invested in building a real recruiting engine.
Here’s what happened:
They hired 24–25 reps to find the right fit.
They retained about half.
And one of those hires became their Director of Sales.
That’s the part most leaders miss: scaling isn’t about batting 1.000 — it’s about having a repeatable system that consistently produces winners (and filters out the wrong fits fast).
Now they’re aiming for $13–14M in 2026, with a long-term blueprint to reach $100M.
If you’re trying to scale, ask yourself: do you have a recruiting process… or just a hope-and-pray approach?
What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced when hiring sales talent?
