20 years ago I earned my 1st scholarship in college to play Ball 🏀 in 2006. Happy New Years everyone! - I went the JUCO route and ended up NCAA DIV II two years later. My first coaches, Coach King, Coach Trainer and Coach Skaggs were the best coaches I could have been recruited by. They helped me grow as a young man on and Off the court. My teammates were probably handpicked by God Himself! Some of the best group of guys with grit, determination and back stories we all could relate to. We all was like brothers! - To all you guys securing scholarships in college to play sports this year, congrats! 👏. And for those still seeking opportunities and scholarships, don’t give up. Keep putting in that work! Because I didn’t get an official offer until a month before school started in the fall on both JUCO and my NCAA offer. - It’s totally worth it.
