Former captain jpav8 has called it a career and I believe he should be the third number retired by the San Jose Sharks. Joe lead the Sharks to some of the greatest years in franchise history. He was an amazing leader, well loved in San Jose, and his presence was surely felt when he later joined the Dallas Stars. I remember meeting Joe in his rookie season. 8 year-old me was very shy, but managed to tell him “I think you’re a really good hockey player🙂”, making the whole room blush.
