Iceland Day 6 - Vik Passed through (much foggier) Vik again to start trekking northeast! Looks like we hit the edge of creation, (or the minecraft farlands), and made some time to find the heated outdoor pools at the local sport center.... again, probably the only tourists here 🤣 Fun fact, the 'ð' character is pronounced like 'th' 1️⃣🏞 Fjadrárgljúfur river canyon is HUGE 2️⃣🦖 Looking out from Gígjagjá ("Yoda Cave"). A nice shelter from the rain, some people were enjoying lunch in here 3️⃣⚫️ Dyrhólaey beach- 99% of the beaches here are black sand, so this is a good spot to see one that looks endless, and the plane wreck from Day 4 is around where the shoreline starts to curve left 4️⃣⛪️ Famous red-roofed Vik church with THICK fog covering the huge mountains behind 5️⃣🌫 Foggy Vik in perfect overcast weather 6️⃣🚘 Drove through an inland area with black soil (not asphalt) that went on literally as far as you could see in every direction, with the road cutting through as the only inf...
