Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado has said she should "absolutely" be in charge of the country, after the US seized President Nicolás Maduro last week. Speaking to CBS News, she thanked US President Donald Trump for his "leadership and courage" after US forces stormed the capital Caracas and arrested Maduro. Machado, who won the Nobel Peace Prize last year, said nobody trusted Venezuela's interim leader, Delcy Rodríguez, who was previously Maduro's vice-president.
