Florida State saw the arch-rival Miami Hurricanes secure a victory over Ole Miss in the College Football Playoff semifinal game. This has to make the fan base frustrated because the program has been in a downward spiral for the better part of a decade. We always joke about Miami not winning the conference and having so much potential with no results. However, head football coach Mario Cristobal has seemingly found a method that works in the sport where he emphasizes building the trenches and playmakers through the high school ranks, power football with running the football, and grab prized transfers at positions of need. Hopefully, this is a spot where head football coach Mike Norvell and the Seminoles look at their deficiencies head on and attack them.
