Henry Lau called out a Singapore concert venue mid performance after fans raised concerns over poor visibility and event setup at his Singland Festival show on Jan 3.
The concert took place at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre B2 level, where multiple attendees complained about obstructed views caused by pillars, harsh lighting and a long catwalk-style stage. Addressing the crowd in English and Mandarin, Henry apologised and said the venue was not suitable for performances, adding that he hoped no other artists would perform there again.
He also shared that he was unable to complete his full setlist as he had to walk across the lengthy stage to reach different sections of the audience. Organisers later apologised and said they are reviewing their planning and on-ground execution.
