Roy Keane has blamed Manchester United's decay on Sir Alex Ferguson 'hanging on like a bad smell'. The Old Trafford legend, who famously fell out with Sir Alex in 2005, believes United's powerbrokers are holding the club back with weak decision-making. Caretaker manager Darren Fletcher admitted he asked for Ferguson's blessing before taking on the role - despite the Scot retiring in 2013. Yet Fergie's old boy could only muster a 2-2 draw at Burnley and Keane fears the slide will only continue unless United's chiefs make the right choice about the future manager. He said on Sky Sports: 'What happens in these job interviews? I'm intrigued. Why do they keep giving certain people a job? What happens in the interview that they sit there and go, and 12, 14 months later, "he's not the guy for us." 'You see who's making the decisions at Manchester United... you still have [Alex] Ferguson and David Gill [former chief executive] hanging on like a bad smell.' #roykeane #alexferguson #mancheste...
