I came to Vancouver to compete, to win and to grow as a person and now I leave with pride, gratitude and memories I’ll carry forever. Trophies are never won alone in our sport and this team proved the power of belief. Being a part of history in Canada’s first women’s professional league meant more to me than I thought it would. Early this season I set a personal goal to inspire and interact more with our next generation to show them that dreams and hard work can take you anywhere in the world and that football can give you so much more than just the game. With that said, dear to dream big and follow your dreams, whatever it is in life. To my teammates, coaches, club and fans, Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
