I went to an #aas247 event at the new International Dark Sky Discovery Center tonight. The center is about a third built, and we had a lovely evening full of talks and good food. Unfortunately, the sky didn’t cooperate with our desire for telescope time. I’m looking forward to the grand opening this fall! #astronomy #fountainhills #darkskycommunity
