Another usscbasketball spring break camp finished! What a week! This was a fun group who got after it each and every day! We preached the 3 E’s everyday! Energy, Effort, Enthusiasm. We are preparing this next generation for life. Basketball and sports in general teach the skills you need to face adversity and deal with tough situations, it teaches you how to work as a team and how to communicate, how to give maximum effort. We learn that sometimes sacrifices are necessary and how to get outside your comfort zone. Pushing your limits and really seeing what can happen when you face those challenges head on! We want to prepare them for what is to come so when they do face it they are ready to deal with it the best they can. Most kids won’t play college or pro, but they all can learn the skills and habits needed to live a purposeful and successful life. I hope the messages stick with these kids for a lifetime!
