#FacultyImpact: Dr. Muhsinah L. Morris, Director of Metaverse Programs and Professor of Practice, has been named a “Hometown Hero” and featured in the Science Lives Here exhibit— an initiative spotlighting scientists whose work is shaping local communities.⁠ ⁠ A DeKalb County Schools alum, Clark Atlanta University graduate, and Emory University–trained scholar, Dr. Morris is a biomolecular chemist and nationally recognized leader in extended reality, artificial intelligence, and immersive learning. She is best known for pioneering the world’s first Metaversity at Morehouse College, expanding access to STEM education through culturally responsive and innovative technologies.⁠ ⁠ "Science Lives Here!" is a pop-up exhibit featuring posters of diverse STEM professionals in metro Atlanta.
