A$AP Rocky’s new video “Punk Rocky” features a few familiar faces including composer and musician Danny Elfman. Shirtless and perched atop a slanted roof, Elfman can be spotted playing the drums in the video.⁠ ⁠ The cameo itself is not random at all. Fans who’ve been following the ‘Don’t Be Dumb’ saga know that Rocky teamed up with Elfman to work on multiple songs across the upcoming album.⁠ ⁠ We spoke to Elfman about his experience working with Rocky and being in the “Punk Rocky” video: "Joining up with Rocky and crew to shoot that video was just completely fun. First off, me as a drummer, which is crazy in itself!"⁠ ⁠ The 'Don't Be Dumb' rollout has also featured longtime Elfman associates Winona Ryder and Tim Burton.
