Today marks a year since the deadly Palisades and Eaton fires tore through Southern California. Communities across Los Angeles County are remaining focused on the long road to recovery. The fires killed more than two dozen people and left thousands of structures damaged and destroyed. Extremely dry conditions and strong winds fueled flames, as both infernos spread to scorch more than 37-thousand acres of land. And in the wake of the cleanup, local officials say construction plans are advancing to rebuild homes, businesses, and schools.
