Bella Ramsey has talked about going viral for saying they'd like to play Spiderman. On the red carpet for the 2026 Critics Choice Awards, Ramsey said: “It’s so funny. Just a passing comment can make such a stir it turns out. Listen, I’m still up for it but I’ve not actually thought twice about it since.” Speaking to Variety in 2025, the conversation turned to superheroes after their co-star, Pedro Pascal, debuted as Reed Richards in ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’. Ramsey, when asked who they would want to star as, said: “I could be Spider-Man. Tom Holland did a great job though.
