We knew about the new toll To drive to the top of rifugio auronzo to start the Tre Cime Di Lavaredo hike. To avoid this I had planned to get the bus- what I didn’t think about was the possibility that Roo (my dog) wouldn’t be aloud on and the irregular bus times. So not having made a booking for the toll, instead of waiting for a slot we decided to hike the surrounding area starting at Lago Di Misurina. When we reached Lago d’Antorno we were absolutely loving life at 9:30am, the trail was beautiful through the forest and meadows with cows that we thought what the heck!
