Journey to France, just as easy as that. đđłď¸
I like to camp around dover the night before so I can get an early ferry, I always think this means less queues. So far Iâve been lucky and havenât had to queue before getting to the port
Things I like about the ferry:
You stay in your vehicle the whole journey to the ferry. Even with a dog. So no faffing with Roo, she doesnât need to do anything but sit still for the microchip scan.
** if you have a dog there is a whole process youâll need to prepare for taking them aboard. Youâll need a health certificate or pet passport and a rabies jab. Itâs long but relatively easy- speak to your vet in advance
The signs make it very easy, so once you join the queue, you just follow the lane
You drive straight off the ferry and donât stop. you literally just drive straight onto the motorway because you did passport control before getting on the ferry
Things I find mad about the ferry:
You drive straight off the ferry and donât stop. Yes...
