It means to have a support system of people there to cheer you on, encourage you and help you reach your goals—and people you also care about and root for!” For Kathryn McGovern, Creighton equals opportunity. She lists the countless ways she has become involved during her college years: a semester in the DR, Service & Justice trips, the University’s student-run choirs. “From my first tour on campus, I could tell this was a special place with people who really cared,” she says, and “there were so many ways to become involved and really discover what I was interested in and passionate about.” After graduation, the senior theology and justice & society double major will be participating in ACE, a two-year master’s program for education at the University of Notre Dame.
