I’m so happy to close the books on my 1st of 4 semesters getting my Masters in Social Work. My new internship is incredible, my classmates are fun, but most of all it’s DONE! At least for a bit. Let me tell you, being a full time student on top of a mom of 3 and company owner (ironically just having my most lucrative quarter in a decade) has been a lot. I’m very excited to have a break from tests and writing. However I will miss the 40 minute car ride each way to listen to podcasts. I’ve learned so much this semester and see things differently now. For example - transportation is such a barrier for people. Even the simplest things like getting a free coat or food to someone in need isn’t possible if there’s no way to get it to them.
