Returning to your college town as an adult is an incredible experience. Add in showing it to your family for the first time and all of the feelings are there. I’m so grateful for my partnership with annarbor who invited my family of five to one of my favorite cities in the world – Ann Arbor – for a weeklong family vacation. We toured Michigan’s incredible football stadium “The Big House“, visited museums, kayaked at Argo Park, made mozzarella cheese at Zingerman’s, played pickleball at Wolverine Pickleball, played pinball at Pinball Pete’s, and hit up all my old haunts. We strolled through graffiti alley, played pool and went in the pool at Weber’s Hotel, hiked through Nichols Arboretum, and strolled through Matthaei Botanical Gardens. We rang the chimes in Kerrytown, ate some of the most delicious food in the world (while catching up with old friends), had seconds on Blank Slate ice cream, and drank more coffee then Lorelei and Rory on Gilmore Girls.
