As a University of Michigan alumni, Michigan Stadium or “The Big House” is a special place for me. It’s a place where I spent four years cheering on the Wolverines as one of the many in a sea of maize and blue football fans. I remember watching Dhani Jones and Charles Woodson get us to the Rose Bowl in 1998 on this field and celebrating them like heroes upon their return. Bringing my family back to Ann Arbor and touring Michigan Stadium was one of the highlights of our family vacation. Jim - our incredible tour guide - was beyond generous with his time, patient beyond belief, let us try on his national champion ring, and even let me play out my dream of scoring a touchdown on the field (despite an intense defense). From standing in the locker room to exiting through the tunnel with a jump and tap on the official “Go Blue” banner, it was a dream come true.
