A Future In Foxboro 🦊 | With playoff football at Gillette Stadium and the FIFA World Cup coming to Foxborough this summer, just down the road, Foxborough Country Club is carving out its own moment with championship golf ahead. Over the next several seasons, the club will welcome a lineup of significant events to the statewide golf community, beginning this summer with its first Ouimet Memorial Tournament and building toward a signature moment with the club’s first Massachusetts Open Championship in 2032. Foxborough Country Club was incorporated on July 18, 1955, born from an ambitious idea that grew out of the Foxboro Company’s employee four-ball league. After studying other area clubs, the group secured 90 acres of rolling land in South Foxborough and tapped architect Geoffrey Cornish to design the course.
