Unterhalb der Schutzhütte kommt man durch ein Gebiet, in dem - soweit man sehen kann - gespenstische, weiße Bäume stehen, ohne Laub. Die Szenerie wäre ein perfekter Drehort für "Herr der Ringe". Erst später erfahre ich, dass das die Zeugen der großen Waldbrände von 2016 sind.
