this week's #techniquetuesday post isn't particularly fun to listen to or play but it does get some blood pumping, which in turn gets that good nylon pumping too oh yeah scott tennant gang whats good i didnt play sunday or monday bc i had a bunch of stuff i got done in august so i took the days off as a break from my suffering. when i take some time off my left hand starts to feel kinda tight, especially in my pinky (this is most likely not aided by my total refusal to stretch in any facet of my life). i find this exercise really gets things good and loooooooose. more broadly, and idk what the cause of this is, but my pinky has felt a bit foggy this summer, like i have a lot less precise control over the motion. this is usually one of the very first things i do when practicing each day, and it provides a great opportunity to check in with how the lil guy feels when making a connection with the strings and be aware of the work it is doing to produce a note. it's important to FEEL each...
