Dear Moncketeers, It is with a full heart and an empty stomach that I present to you a new project of mine, Monck’s Miniatures. This is a series of pieces that are under a minute long by composers who are living, breathing, and very much not dead. It is the hope that this collaborative effort between player, composer and Online will ultimately bare the fruit of larger commissions while giving composers who don’t always write for this dumb instrument a chance to get their toes wet and for me to work with new music.
